Week 7 saw the Jaguars football team traveling to take on the Frosh/Soph Ocean View Seahawks on a rainy afternoon. The first quarter ended quickly after both teams had a hard time moving the ball on offense. About 2 minutes in to the second quarter, the rain started to fall and it fell heavily. With the wet and muddy conditions, again, defense played a role in preventing either offense from moving the ball or even holding onto the ball as a total of 9 fumbles were committed on both sides. With neither offenses able to move the ball, the first half ended in a 0-0 tie. In the second half, the rain would stop, only leaving a muddy playing surface. The first score of the game would come after a lost fumble by the Jaguars on their own 30 yard line. The Seahawks would lead 6-0. After the kick off, the Jaguars would fumble again, this time on the Jaguars own 20. This would cost the Jaguars another 6 points. The Jaguars would continue to fight but was unable make up the differences. With the score 12-0, the Jaguars suffered their second defeat and first in league play. The Jaguars are now 5-2 and 1-1 in league play. Next week, the Jaguars will travel again to take on the Orange Panthers.
